Olinca's Debate 2012

After hours and hours of preparations it seemed like we needed more, but finally we were there. Javier took the step up and chose tails, we lost, but the other team decided to go in Favor of the topic. Our strategy was right they were going for that as we thought. 

 In the first position Itzel Passed doing an amazing job but at the end she was able to accomplish only 1minute and 45 seconds however the way she answered the questions gave her merits. After her we had Javier who took the microphone with his hands and showed a great dominance of the the topic. The judges were impressed, he did 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Finally he answered the questions of the Rebuttal's Team showing his knowledge of the topic. However we didn't know what to expect. Five minutes we had after him to prepare our Rebuttals speeches.

In other words time has passed in lightening speed. Luis Mario was now making out his point. Showing confidence, speaking with lots of fluency and showing his point to the debaters and judges. He spoke for about 2 minutes and 45 seconds, he did amazingly well. However we steel had one more speech to come. 

Joel came to the front, you could say he was nervous at the begging, but after a few seconds he step up and began over showing his skills, he was able to go all the way through doing two minutes and 31 seconds. He closed our teams speeches with a very solid questions confirming our argument all around. 

Now we had to wait, till other two excellent teams from Olinca would debate to know weather we won or not. 

Our time had finished now we were able to relax and had pictures taken, with our conscious in peace know we did all we could to do our best. 

Miss Elisabeht Taboada our English Coordinator was acknowledge as Judge for the Debate between Olinca Cuernavaca and Olinca Periférico. 

Finally before we knew who won we received our recognitions.

Finally we were able to listen Javier's name as Best Debater of our TEAM!!! 

After listening to the others team acknowledgments we were able to listen when they call "Instituto La Paz" as the best school between the debaters mornings teams.

Amazing Job!!!
