Project

21st of January 2013

Itinerary for a TRIP. 

Choose a place in MEXICO. 
Design an itinerary for a trip there. 
Answer the following questions: 
  • How to get there? 
  • Where to stay? 
  • What to do? 

Design a presentation in posters so that students around the class can decide which trip would be the best to do. 


Percentages to be taken into account for your Monthly Grade. 

Exam 50%
Project 15%
Notebook 15%

Homework 10%

2nd to 4th MYP (PAI) English Fernando



Project!!!!



FOR 2nd, 3rd AND 4th MYP STUDENTS


  1. I´d like to remind you that the deadline for delivering your projects is the next November 5th, 2012.
    Remember that it counts as a 15% of your monthly grade.

    Projects are the following according to your MYP grade.

    For 2nd MYP:

    1.  Produce a page from a travel guide of the local area. 
    2.  Students first do some research before starting on the page. 
    3.  The pages can be displayed on the walls and should be evaluated by fellow students for attractiveness of design, ease of accessing information, interesting content and quality of language.


    For 3rd MYP:

    1. Conduct a class/group survey about students’ predictions about their life in the future. 
    2. Students should decide on the content/questions of the survey and then present the results in some way. 
    3. This could be orally, report, chart, etc.


    For 4th MYP:

    1. Conduct a classroom survey on a topic to classmates’ values and beliefs. 
    2. In groups students decide what kind of information they want to find out about their class (e.g. Is fashion important for you? Is music an important part of your life? Do you think friends or family are more important? Do you believe in ghosts?). 
    3. They then collect the information and present it in the form of a chart, table or report and put it up on the wall of the classroom for others to read.

Why I want to go to TecMun Jr. 2012?

For me it’s an opportunity of show me how much I advance since my first debate to this one. This is a challenge for me, of going to debate with people from many different kinds of schools that practice the Model of United Nations.
I want to represent a country that I have never had, to learn about it, to know a little about its history and also to see the problems of these country and the other ones.
I think Model help you to reflex about thinking not only in your country, think about all countries and communities were human race exist and think in a possible solution.
For me TecMun is the only model I have visit to complete my Models of United Nations, I know that, It is a lot of work but I know that all of that will bring me benefits.
Committee and country

I will like to be in on United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice committee, and also if it id possible representing Mexico or other Latin America Country.

The project for Unit two will be a collage about your last vacations, so you could start looking for pictures you would like to include and thinking why.

 3rd grade MYP 
The project for unit two will be a TV/Radio Commercial. For you to start watching and paying attention to this sort of thing.

 4th grade MYP
The project for Unit two will be making a magazine/newspaper article about School from several years ago and up to date. So you could star a research about how school was in the past years.
